Description
The artwork and interior design at Nashville, Tennessee’s Union Station are incredibly beautiful. Ornate sculptures and a beautiful clock surrounded by crystal chandeliers adorn the 5th floor balcony area of the lavish hotel. An architectural wonder, Union Station was built in 1900 as an epicenter of American travel, serving passengers for eight railroads. Union Station ceased train operation in 1979, and in more recent years was acquired by Marriott Hotel as part of their Autograph Collection Hotel group.A turn-of-the-century landmark, Union Station serves as an awe-inspiring reminder of the romance and grandeur of a bygone era, and it is a fine example of late-Victorian Romanesque Revival architecture, a must-see when in Nashville!
Thank you for viewing my gallery. I hope you will find my artwork worthy of hanging in your home or office, and trust you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed presenting it to you.
