Artist's Description
The old Chester Inn is a former inn located on the Great Stage Road at Jonesborough in Northeast Tennessee. The inn was opened by Dr. William P. Chester in 1797. The museum chronicles the history of Jonesborough from 1779 to present-day. Today, the inn is known as the Chester Inn State Historic Site and Museum and attracts visitors from around the world.
