Description
Now on display at the Museum of Appalachia, this carriage was used by Randall D. Hoard, a.k.a. “Doc Randall”, who was best known for his “Doc Randall’s Ole Medicine Show”. The show originated in 1949, and Hoard entertained for years at fairs, craft shows and folk festivals with his recreation of an old-time medicine show. Hoard was born in 1928 and died in 2006 at Hawkins County, Tennessee.
