Description
Historic King University was founded in 1866 by the Holston Presbytery at Bristol, Tennessee. When the college outgrew its small campus, Isaac Anderson donated land on a hillside east of Bristol, and in 1917 the college moved to its present location in Sullivan County pictured here. Comprised of 135 acres, the campus is a site to behold, with its grassy lawns and lakeside reflections. Today, King University is considered one of the most prestigious schools in Northeast Tennessee.
