Description
This peaceful little waterfall is located at the site of a former mill and mill dam that were once situated along Reems Creek as it spills into Lake Louise near Weaverville, North Carolina. Reems Creek rises in the Black Mountains of western North Carolina, and flows into the French Broad River. The old mill was once part of an affluential community in the 1800s. Today, the old red waterwheel and stone foundations are the only remaining remnants of the old mill.
