Artist's Description
We often go to Roan Mountain in Northeast Tennessee in Spring to see the luscioius rhododendrons. On one of the trails on top of the mountain, we had just turned a curve, and there was this thicket full of beautiful blooms. I enhanced the original photograph by digital processing to give the effect of an oil painting on this one.
