Artist's Description
Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, the beautifully serene Price Lake is a lovely place to spend the day. The site features canoeing, kayaking and fishing, along with hiking and walking trails, and offers a gorgeous view of Galloway Peak on Grandfather Mountain. As a travel photographer, I spend a lot of time on the Blue Ridge Parkway of western North Carolina. On this particular day, I came across this beautiful scene in a peaceful alcove on Price Lake. It was a welcoming sight on a lovely Sunday day trip!
