Description
St. Thomas Episcopal Church building at Abingdon is based on a 14th century English Tudor Gothic chapel. The chancel layout is the traditional design that was popular after 1840 in England and later in this country. This building was completed in 1925 to replace the old church that had burned in 1924. The church is located in Washington County in lower Southwest Virginia.
