Charleston, South Carolina sunsets are undoubtedly some of the very best! In our recent visit to Charleston and Mount Pleasant, we had the pleasure of seeing a glorious sunset over the Ravenel Bridge. This photograph was taken just before sunset, which illuminated the river and cast a wonderful glow in the sky. The Arthur J. Ravenel Jr. Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Cooper River in South Carolina, connecting downtown Historic Charleston to the Mount Pleasant area. When the bridge was completed in 2005, it was the longest cable-stayed bridge of its time in North America and the tallest structure in South Carolina. Memories abound!
