Description
The historic old General Mills building shown at sunset... Built in 1909 in Johnson City, Tennessee, by George L. Carter, the building was initially known as “Model Mill”. Carter was a famous entrepreneur who shaped the destiny of the town. The building was sold in 1931 to General Mills for one million dollars. For many years, the company produced Red Band flour and other products. In more recent years, the 100-year-old facility has been beautifully renovated and repurposed for high-end office space, a bakery, a hotel and restaurants.

Thanks, Tony! This old General Mills building was gorgeous in the late evening light... The structure has since been renovated and repurposed... Glad to get the shot when I did. :)
