Description
Remember how much fun it was to go down to the old country store when you were growing up? Well, it’s still a treat for me! “The Old Country Store” was a photograph I made at the Old Mast General Store in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. Full of nostalgia, the store is full of sweet memories and reminders of growing up in the ‘50s and ‘60s. It was always a treat to go to the old country store... Penny candy was our favorite, and oh my, the joy of reaching down in that ice water for a cold bottled drink! And, yes, we actually walked down a dirt road to get there... No gravel on the roads back in the day. Those were the good ol’ days!
Thank you for viewing my gallery. I hope you will find my artwork worthy of hanging in your home or office, and trust you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed presenting it to you.
