The atrium and lobby of Union Station Nashville are an architectural wonder! Adorned with three massive crystal chandeliers, the lobby is five floors, with a magnificent domed, stained-glass ceiling. On each end of the 5th floor balcony are bas-relief sculptures, along with beautifully ornate clocks. Union Station was built in 1900 as an epicenter of American travel for 8 railroads. The building is currently owned by Marriott Hotels as one of their Autograph Collections and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
