This view of the harbor at Shem Creek, South Carolina is a long exposure of a photo I had taken earlier in the evening. This beautiful harbor scene was taken in late evening, near sunset, when everything was so peaceful and serene. The reflections in evening are stunning, and are symbolic of the beautiful reflections we have in life. Shem Creek is best known for its traditional historic charm, and its waterfront area is home to numerous shrimp boats and chartered trawlers throughout its harbor. The boardwalk along Shem Creek is host to numerous upscale restaurants and bars filled with vibrant and energetic nightlife. Over 2,200 feet long, the handsome boardwalk offers panoramic views of the marsh and Charleston Harbor. Be sure to visit Shem Creek when in the Charleston area!
