The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge at Wilmington, North Carolina is shown here with a stunning display of colors at sunset. I was so pleased when I found a secluded little viewing area jutting out over the river near the Wilmington Riverwalk. There was no one else there, and fortunately I had the area all to myself as I watched the sunset and shot long exposures of this glorious scene. This sunset will always hold a special place in my heart.
The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, which spans the Cape Fear River, connects downtown Wilmington with the city's western suburbs and provides a key route for commuters and travelers. Known for its distinctive green color, the bridge offers scenic views of the river and surrounding areas. It serves as a vital link for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, contributing to the accessibility and connectivity of Wilmington's urban landscape.
