This is a full-frame view of the beautiful chapel inside the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist at Savannah, Georgia. The architectural detail and detailed artwork are beyond stunning! The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah and holds the title of being the oldest Roman Catholic parish in Georgia, established in 1799.
The cathedral is known for its stunning architecture, which combines elements of French Gothic and Romanesque styles. The exterior of the building features intricate detailing, including beautiful stained glass windows and towering spires that reach towards the sky. The facade is adorned with statues and ornamental designs, showcasing the craftsmanship of the era.
