Description
I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I never tire of exploring the nearby hollows and streams.I feel so drawn to the mountains, especially the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina where I spend a lot of time year-round. In this image, I had just discovered another lovely creek just off the Appalachian Trail in western North Carolina. I adore finding these little cascades in quiet mountain spots, and this is one of the many I've been fortunate to see, about halfway between Boone, Blowing Rock, and Asheville.
It's simple, beautiful, peaceful, and serene – everything we cherish in life. Tucked away in the thick foliage, the little waterfall felt magical as the water flowed over moss-covered rocks. The air was cool, with a gentle mist that was quite refreshing, creating an enchanting atmosphere in the scene.
