The historic old General Mills building was built by George L. Carter in 1909 at Johnson City in Northeast Tennessee. The building was initially known as “Model Mills”, and for many years the company produced Red Band flour and other products. In more recent years, the dilapidated 100-year-old facility has been beautifully renovated and repurposed as high-end business complex.
