Port City Marina is a beautiful marina on the Riverfront in Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Located on the Cape Fear River, the marina has breathtaking waterfront views. We wandered down to the boardwalk near dusk one evening, and I was captivated by the beautiful hues of pink and blue in the sky. I had not brought my tripod with me, so I improvised by using a wooden post on the dock to support my camera while taking this bracketed, long exposure shot of this award-winning image. Anything to get the shot... Smiles. Such a memorable evening!
