Description

Back in the day, it was common to find the community post office inside a local country store. Such was the case at the Mast Country Store in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. The Old Mast Country Store is a fine example of the old country stores that dotted the South throughout our youth. Now listed on the Historic Register of National Sites, the store and its little post office bring back memories and a sweet wave of nostalgia from days gone by.
