Sunset in the Blue Ridge Mountains is like no other... They are stunning and breathtaking, all at the same time. Craggy Gardens is a beautiful area located along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, known for its impressive mountain views, beautiful sunsets and vibrant displays of rhododendrons. We arrived just before sunset, and saw this amazing view looking west toward the Great Smoky Mountains. You could readily see the beautiful blue haze that these mountains are famous for and the reason they are calledl the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Northing is as refreshing as breathing in the sweet mountain air and watching a stunning sunset like this. As the sun began to set over the mountains, the sky above Craggy Gardens transformed into a palette of vibrant colors. Shades of orange, pink, and purple started to paint the horizon, casting a warm and enchanting glow over the landscape.
