Artist's Description
On our recent visit to the Shem Creek and Mount Pleasant coasts of the greater Charleston, South Carolina area, we were blessed to see some incredible sunsets. As the sun was setting, the sky turned into a stunning array of orange, pink, and purple hues, and the light reflected throughout the creek and marshes. The grasses and reeds swayed gently in the breeze, creating a peaceful atmosphere. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, the colors became more intense and the shadows grew longer. Birds were flying overhead, and you could hear the chirping of crickets. The smell of the water and the plants was refreshing. Watching the sunset in the marshes of Shem Creek is a unique and beautiful experience that is both calming and rejuvenating.
