Twilight at Price Lake is a beautiful time of day, especially in summer. Located in the mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Blowing Rock and Boone, North Carolina, the beautifully serene waters of Price Lake were soft and dreamy at dusk on this SUMMER evening.
Price Lake is a gorgeous, man-made lake located on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Blowing Rock and Boone, North Carolina. The 47-acre lake is part of the Julian Price Memorial Park at the foot of Grandfather Mountain. There is an easy 2.7-mile loop trail that circles the shoreline. Views on the lake are sure to please any time of day, especially at sunset. On our way home from the parkway, we were fortunate to make one last stop at the lake just after sunset, during the "blue hour". The lake was serene and peaceful, with not a soul in sight. Such a perfect way to end the day!
