The East Coast in Virginia gifted me with a breathtaking sight—a sunrise so glorious, it bathed everything in a gentle pink glow. The morning haze and soft clouds worked together, turning the bay into a canvas of serenity. This artwork is a window to that serene morning, perfect for those who find joy in simple wonders.
The 105-feet long schooner Alliance (shown in center) was built in 1995 and used as a charter vessel off the coast of Maine. Initially named the Kathryn B., she cruised the waters of Penobscot Bay in summer months and was chartered in the Caribbean in winter. In 2005, the schooner was purchased by Yorktown Sailing Charters and was certified to carry 49 persons on daysails and 12 overnight.
