We were fortunate to spend some time in Louisville, Kentucky this summer, where I took several shots of the sunset over the Ohio River. This was a long exposure taken several minutes after the sun had set, leaving an awesome glow in the sky. The silhouette of the Abraham Lincoln Bridge was pretty against the stunning colors in the sky.

The Abraham Lincoln Bridge over the Ohio River is an incredibly beautiful piece of architecture. Completed in December 2015, the bridge connects downtown Louisville, Kentucky with Jeffersonville, Indiana. With a total length of approximately 2,100 feet, the Abraham Lincoln Bridge accommodates both vehicle and pedestrian traffic, significantly improving connectivity between the two states. Its construction played a vital role in alleviating traffic congestion and fostering economic development in the region. The bridge stands as a symbol of historical significance and modern infrastructure, contributing to the overall improvement of transportation networks in the Ohio River Valley.
