Description
These two shrimp boats were peacefully docked in late evening at Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The water was so serene with beautiful reflections, and I seemed to be the only soul wandering along the boardwalk, save for a few occasional seagulls floating by overhead. I reflected on the lost art of shrimping and could almost “see” the fishermen laughing and talking about their catch for the day. Located near Charleston, Shem Creek has a special place in my heart and will always be one of my very favorite places to visit. The restaurants along the creek have some of the finest seafood to be found!
