Description
This picturesque image, captured in the heart of the Appalachians, is titled "Snow in the Appalachians." Snow in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina is like stepping into a winter wonderland. The tall evergreen trees are dressed in white, their branches weighed down by the fluffy snowflakes falling from the sky. It's a magical scene, where the landscape seems to be painted in shades of black and white, creating a serene and enchanting atmosphere. I love the evergreens clothed in white in the magic of the falling snow.
This snow scene was located on the Tennessee-North Carolina border not far from Asheville. I converted the image to grayscale to better showcase this winter scene just off the parkway. So very breathtaking!
