Description
Well, I met up with my old friend “Jumpy, the Squirrel” on a walk through the woods today. I’d know him anywhere, that same mischievous look, clearly ready for some Autumn antics, that thing that squirrels do.
With acorns scattered around him like treasure, Jumpy dashed to and fro, performing gravity-defying leaps that would make any Olympic athlete envious. It was as if he was rehearsing a squirrel version of Cirque du Soleil along my morning walk in the woods here in Northeast Tennessee.
I couldn't help but laugh at his daredevil stunts. As he swiftly scaled a maple tree, he paused for a moment, his fluffy tail curving like a question mark. Then, with a triumphant flip, he vanished from view. Jumpy's playful antics were a delightful reminder of the spirited joy that Autumn ushers in. And I couldn't help but smile, knowing that my squirrel friend was living his best life amidst the falling leaves and crisp, cool air. It’s the little things in life that count. Hope you enjoy this heartwarming image.
