Description
This picture is a black and white version of a long exposure I took of Looking Glass Falls right after a heavy rain. The entire area was covered in mist and fog as the evening approached, giving it a surreal feeling, like stepping into a dream. The waterfall was softly obscured by the mist, creating a mysterious and captivating atmosphere. I found myself staying longer than usual, captivated by the beauty of this well-known waterfall, which drops about 60 feet into the pool below. When I edited the original photo, I made sure to maintain the mood to closely match the scene’s natural beauty. Looking Glass Falls is located approximately nine miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Pisgah National Forest, near Brevard, North Carolina.
A statement piece, this artwork is perfect for home or office. This vertical piece of art is even more beautiful in print, canvas, or metal print. Also available in full color.
