Description
A tranquil waterfall, known as Chau Ram Falls or Ramsey Creek Falls, gracefully descends over smooth rocks into a misty pool amidst lush greenery in the Pisgah National Forest of upstate South Carolina. Captured in black and white, the photo highlights the serene flow of water and timeless beauty of the landscape. During early morning, the falls become even more enchanting as mist rises from the creek, illuminated by soft sunlight filtering through the trees. Despite challenges, I captured this magical scene with a long exposure shot atop a slippery rock.
Chau Ram Falls, a majestic 40-foot cascade, is a popular attraction in Chau Ram County Park, drawing visitors from nearby towns like Westminster, Walhalla, and Seneca, who seek to immerse themselves in nature's beauty.
