On our recent trip to Savannah, we were so very blessed to have a room with a balcony overlooking the Savannah River. I loved waking up early every morning, just before sunrise, and watch the mesmerizing display of color in the sky as the sun came up. The Savannah Riverwalk is shown just below our balcony. The Talmadge Memorial Bridge is shown in the center of the photo... A large container ship had just passed under the bridge and docked at left. The reflections in the water were absolutely stunning!
A Savannah River sunrise is a breathtaking and serene experience. Just after sunrise, the river is bustling with activity from the large cargo ships and tugboats.
