It’s one of those ones you’re not really sure if it’s Summer or Autumn, but either way you love it. The Summer greens are changing to a soft yellow green, with yellow leaves popping up everywhere. The landscape turns into a beautiful gold. It’s a reminder that the color green is such an integral part of the Autumn palate.
I enjoyed walking the Old Fall Creek Road in historic Sullivan County, Tennessee this morning. The old road, seldom in use, has long since been replaced by a new road a few hundred yards away. But the Old Fall Creek Road still rang true, especially this morning with the crisp Autumn air, the beautiful scenery, with Fall Creek running alongside the little country lane. The scenery was stunning, and you can’t always capture it in camera. This is one of the images I brought back as a token of my morning walk on Old Fall Creek Road. I used a textured overlay on this image to give the essence of a watercolor, emanating happiness and joy in the Autumn season. Hope you like it.
